Collection: Crystal Cottage

Hi, I'm Crystal Cottage, and I create pixel art! I've drawn and created art through various
mediums my entire life, but I first began teaching myself pixel art in 2021. I grew up playing
various video games that utilized pixel art, so it's always had a sense of nostalgia to me. The
name "Crystal Cottage" is inspired by my love of creating art that has a cozy and magical feel to
it. I feel that pixel art allows me to be creative in various ways, such as cross stitch, fiber art,
bead art, diamond art, and more! Pixel art is unique in that it's a puzzle; it involves some math
and out-of-the-box thinking. There truly is a lot more depth and challenge to this art style than
what meets the eye. I love nothing more than recreating popular media (such as books, shows,
video games) into pixel art, as well as creating my own fantastical scenes and worlds with a
pixel style.
